Prayer to St. Joseph
Asks St. Joseph to adopt us as his children, to guard us from sin, to obtain for us love of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and of Mary, and to be with us at the hour of death.
O my beloved St. Joseph, adopt me as your child. Take charge of my salvation; watch over me day and night; preserve me from all occasions of sin; obtain for me purity of soul and body and the spirit of prayer, through your intercession with Jesus.
St. Joseph, help me in my earthly strife ever to lead a pure and blameless life. Grant me a spirit of sacrifice, of humility and of self-denial; obtain for me a burning love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and a sweet, tender love for Mary, my Mother.
St. Joseph, be with me in death, and obtain for me a favourable judgement from Jesus, my merciful Saviour. Amen.
