Who we are

One family, three branches

Mary's Little Children Community (MLCC) is one family of the faithful of varying states of life — lay missionaries, Sisters, nuns, Brothers, monks and priests — formed by the spiritual maternity of the Blessed Virgin and gathered by our Lord Jesus Christ, Mary’s Little Child and our Señor Santo Niño, into one evangelical and ecclesial Community.

Its three branches live under the shepherding of the Father Moderator.

  1. 1

  2. 2

    Sisters and nuns

  3. 3

    Lay members

Lay evangelizers in a Public Association of the Faithful, erected by Cardinal Vidal on 22 August 2003.

Our vision

God glorified in Jesus Christ through the healing and renewal of His priests and people.

Our mission

“We commit ourselves in the disposition of Mary at Nazareth, Calvary and Upper Room to total renewal and transformation in Jesus Christ crucified and risen. We hope to attain this by living the Gospel of Christ and partaking of His Eucharistic Body in an ecclesial or a stable community animated by the Holy Spirit and accomplishing our work and prayer life in view of the personal and family oriented, integral healing mission of the Father.”

Why “little”

“We are called ‘little’ in our relation to Mary in the order of grace, to express a radical dependence on her in our dealings with Jesus and through Him in our relation to the Father which conditions, forms and prepares us for a fruitful cooperation with God’s salvific mission in the power of the Holy Spirit.”

About the Community

What we do

Everything we do flows from one mission: to bring the healing love of Jesus to people in body, mind, and spirit. Here is how that looks day to day.

Cenacles

Small gatherings of prayer and fellowship, modeled on the Upper Room, where Mary and the disciples waited and prayed together. Come, pray, and grow in faith with others. Meet weekly in homes and parishes—contact us to find a cenacle near you.

Our founder

Msgr. Frederick “Fred” Kriekenbeek

Msgr. Fred founded Mary’s Little Children Community in 1998. On 6 January, the Epiphany, its members made their first commitment, and that February it moved to Tabunok, which remains its mother house.

As its spiritual director he prepared it to become a community the Church could approve. He presented its Statutes, wrote prayers the Community still prays, and served among its Elders.
